How the commission breaks down
Total commission
Of the total project value, paid across two milestones.
On quotation accepted
Paid as soon as your referral signs off on their quote.
On project completion
Paid once the project is delivered and the final invoice is settled.
Eligible projects must be valued at more than R2,000.
How it works
1. You refer a client
Introduce someone who needs a website, web app, or hosting to WeKode — via WhatsApp, email, or a warm intro. Let us know it's a referral.
2. Quotation accepted
We scope the work and send a quotation. As soon as your referral accepts it, you earn the first 10% commission.
3. Project completed
Once the project is delivered and the final invoice is paid, you earn the remaining 10% commission.
4. Get paid
Commission is paid out directly to you at each milestone — no waiting for the whole program to launch.
Program terms
- Total commission is 20% of the project value, split into two 10% payouts — one when the referred client accepts their quotation, and one when the project is completed and paid in full.
- The referred project must have a total value greater than R2,000 to qualify for the program.
- The referral must be a new client (or an existing client's genuinely new project) that WeKode would not otherwise have engaged with.
- Commission is calculated on the agreed project value, excluding recurring hosting, maintenance, or third-party costs unless otherwise agreed.
- Full program terms, payout mechanics, and self-service tracking will be published when the referral portal goes live.
The referral program is being finalized alongside the WeKode client portal. Terms above describe how commissions work today and may be refined before the self-service portal launches — we'll notify everyone who registers interest of any changes.
